A Presentation Pigeonhole is a lightweight option designed for simple scenarios like team meetings, classes, and quick demonstrations. This article describes how to show a Presentation Pigeonhole on the Web.
Note: Interactivities can also be presented from Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
Collaborate on presenting
You can easily share your Presentation Pigeonhole in advance, allowing a team member to manage the interactive elements and audience engagement tools while you focus on delivering your talk.
From the screen where you’re creating or editing the Presentation Pigeonhole, select Share near the top right. In the window that opens, select one of the following options, then Copy the link or download the QR code to share.
- Participants: Displays a link and QR code that brings up the Presentation in the Audience Web App.
- Admins: Displays a link and QR code that brings up the Presentation in the Admin Panel. Use this option to share with a team member.

Launch the Presentation
If you will present the interactivities without your own slides (or in a separate browser tab from your slides), launch from Pigeonhole Live. In the Dashboard, select the Interactivity you want to present from the sidebar. Then, select Present at the top right. The Projector Panel will open the selected Interactivity in a new tab. You can also expand the Present dropdown menu and select Start from beginning.
About presenting a Presentation Pigeonhole
In the Projector Panel, you typically move through your slides by using the arrows that display when you hover on the left or right side of a slide. Or, you can use the Control Bar.
The Control Bar displays when you move your mouse near the bottom of the screen. The options are:
- Interactivities: Enables you to jump to a specific slide, or navigate through the slides using the Previous and Next arrows.
- Hide results: Shows an aggregate of Poll answers.
- Chart type: Enables you to switch between chart types. The available options depend on the Interactivity type.
- Screens: Enables you to quickly pull up common screens, such as the Sign-in instructions for participants. The options depend on the Interactivity type.
- Wave icon: Shows or hides participant reactions.
- Hide sidebar icon: Hides the sidebar during an Interactivity.
- Fullscreen icon: Toggles Fullscreen mode on and off.
If the Presentation Pigeonhole contains a Pinned Q&A, it displays at the top of the Interactivities list.

To learn more about using the Projector Panel, see the following articles. While they refer to sessions rather than interactivities, the functionality is similar.
The Audience Experience
When participants enter the Audience Web App, they go right to the Interactivity you’re showing. The Audience Web App displays the same Interactivity shown on the Projector Panel. They can't navigate away from the current slide, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
The only exception is with a Q&A Interactivity, which is pinned in the Audience Web App by default. Participants can find it by selecting the Q&A tab at the top of the screen and submit questions at any time.
This focused experience enhances audience engagement, leading to a cohesive and smoother delivery.
