1. Go to the Agenda page in your Pigeonhole. Click on Add session.
2. Under Session Type, choose Survey.
3. Input Survey Information
Name
This will be shown as the title of the Poll on the Agenda.
Start and End Time
Your survey automatically goes live at the start time, and closes at the end time. When a survey is live, your audience is able to submit their responses.

4. Add Survey Questions
Multiple choice questions
Click Add question, then select Multiple choice under Type.

Enter the question here. - Answer options
Provide any number of answers to this multiple choice question. You need to provide a minimum of two answers. - Include "Others" option
This allows attendees to enter their own answer outside of the options provided. Once enabled, you can specify the text label for this option. - Minimum and maximum answers
Specify the minimum and maximum number of answers that attendees can select for this answer. For example, if you wish to require everyone to select exactly 3 answers, you will choose 3 for both options. - Optional question
When enabled, attendees can skip this question without providing a response.
Open text questions
Click Add question, then select Open text under Type.

5. Input Survey Settings
Pre-survey message
This message is shown to attendees before the start of the survey. Use this space to share how responses will be used, as well as the estimated time to complete.
Required. You are limited to 500 characters of text. Line breaks are retained. Basic text formatting is supported through Markdown (see Markdown support).
Post-survey message
This message is shown to attendees upon completion of the survey. Use this space to show a thank you message for completing the survey.

Anonymous responses
When this is enabled, attendees can provide responses anonymously.
When disabled, attendees need to create a profile before they can begin the survey. If anonymity is enabled, attendees can still create profiles but it is optional. There is currently no option to provide responses anonymously if they have created a profile.
6. Remember to click Add Survey to save!
7. Test run your session.
To check or test your setup, you can use Test Mode and open the Audience Web App and Projector Panel to view it from the perspective of your audience, or practice running your Q&A as an organizer with the Admin or Moderator Panel.
