Assessments

Assessments allow you to effectively test participant knowledge using a series of questions that have predefined correct answers. Scores are calculated instantly and available for immediate review.

Adding questions

An Assessment consists of at least one Question and a set of possible answers. You must enter at least two answer options for each question. You mark one correct answer by selecting the checkbox next to it.

Chart types

The responses display as a chart on the Projector Panel. By default, they’re shown as a Vertical bar chart. Alternatively, you can choose a Horizontal bar chart or Pie chart. You can only choose one chart type for each question.

Settings

You can change the settings to customise the Assessment:

  • Anonymous responses: When disabled (default), participants are asked to create a profile when submitting answers. The speaker or presenter can identify participants who submitted answers. When enabled, participants are not identified in the answers they post in the Audience Web App, Panels, and Insights.
  • Participants see the correct answers on their screen after submitting: When enabled, participants receive immediate feedback upon completing and submitting the Assessment. The summary screen on their device displays their final score. For every question, it shows them their chosen response, the actual correct answer, and whether their submission was correct or incorrect.
  • Reactions: Allows participants to use emojis to react to moments in your live events, live streams, and on-demand videos. Available for plans with Reactions enabled.
