One-time event plans are no longer available
Pigeonhole Live no longer offers one-time event plans (Engage and Captivate) for new purchases.
New customers can purchase either a monthly or annual subscription plan.
If you're organising a single event, our monthly plans lets you subscribe only for the time you need while providing more flexibility than the previous one-time event plans.
Which plan should I choose?
Monthly plans are best for:
- One-off conferences, meetings and events
- Short-term projects
- Occasional presentations or workshops
Annual plans are best for:
- Organisations that run multiple events throughout the year
- Teams that regularly host presentations, meetings, webinars, or training sessions
- Customers looking for the best long-term value
You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time, or upgrade to an annual plan whenever you're ready.
Why monthly plans work better for one-time events
Our subscription plans are designed around how event organisers actually work.
Collaborate with your entire organising team
Subscriptions are purchased for a Workspace rather than for an individual event.
Every Workspace—including our free Starter plan—supports up to 25 team members, allowing your organising team to collaborate throughout the planning process.
Create as many Pigeonholes as your event needs
During your subscription, your team can create unlimited Presentation and Event Pigeonholes (subject to your plan's participant capacity).
This gives you much greater flexibility to organise your event, including:
- Separate Pigeonholes for breakout sessions, workshops, VIP roundtables, side events or gala dinner discussions.
- Different guest access settings for different audiences.
- Dedicated Pigeonholes for sessions with different moderators or organisers.
- Unique branding and sponsor logos to cater for different stages or sponsored sessions.
Each Pigeonhole can have its own settings, branding and access configuration.
More time before and after your event
Previous one-time plans were designed around a fixed event duration of 7 days.
With a monthly subscription, you have a much longer window to prepare and follow up.
This means you can:
- Build and test your event well before it begins.
- Conduct rehearsal sessions with your speakers and moderators.
- Continue collecting Survey responses after the event by sharing your feedback session links in post-event emails.
- Export reports and review engagement data after your event has concluded.
Planning your monthly subscription
When should I subscribe?
Your monthly subscription starts on the day you purchase it.
For example, if your event takes place on 15 August, purchasing your subscription around 1 August gives you approximately:
- Two weeks to build your Pigeonholes
- Time to conduct rehearsal and testing
- Time to reset responses before going live
- One to two weeks after the event to continue collecting feedback if required
What if my event requires more than one month of preparation?
There are several options.
Option 1 (Recommended): Choose an annual subscription.
If your planning timeline spans multiple months—or you expect to run additional events during the year—an annual subscription is usually the most cost-effective choice.
Option 2: Subscribe closer to your event.
You can begin planning in a Starter Workspace before upgrading.
For example, you can:
- Invite your organising team.
- Create your Presentation and Event Pigeonholes.
- Build your agenda and session structure.
When you're ready to finalise your event, simply upgrade your Workspace. At that point, you can configure advanced features such as:
- Q&A moderation
- Moderation for open-ended Polls
- Access restrictions
- Custom branding and themes
- Event settings
As a general recommendation, purchase your monthly subscription around four weeks before the final day of your event to allow sufficient time for preparation, testing and post-event follow-up.
Existing one-time Pigeonholes
If you've previously purchased a one-time Pigeonhole, it will continue to operate according to the terms of your original purchase.
