What are legacy plans?
Pigeonhole Live introduced new pricing plans on 22 July 2026. If you subscribed to any of these plans before 22 July 2026 and have continued using the same plan without switching, your subscription is considered a legacy plan:
- Basic (free)
- Pro
- Business
- Engage
- Captivate
- One-time Engage
- One-time Captivate

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my price change?
No. Your subscription price will remain the same as long as you continue using your existing legacy plan.
Will my features or usage limits change?
Legacy plans retain the original features and usage limits that were included at the time of purchase. You can continue using your workspace as usual without any changes to functionality.
Annual Engage and Captivate plans may continue to purchase additional users for their workspace if required.
How can I purchase a current pricing plan?
If you would like to enjoy the features of the new pricing plans, you will need to upgrade a Starter workspace from your dashboard:
- Create a new Starter workspace, or open an existing Starter workspace you want to upgrade
- Select Upgrade plan
- View and choose from the available current pricing plans
- Complete your purchase
Once upgraded, the workspace will operate under the current pricing plan and its associated features and limits.
Can I upgrade my legacy plan?
Legacy plans cannot be upgraded to other legacy plan types. For example, if you are on a Pro plan, you can remain on the Pro plan, and cannot upgrade to other plans.
Users on Annual Engage and Captivate plans may continue to purchase additional users for their workspace if required.
For One-time plans:
- One-time Engage cannot be upgraded to One-time Captivate
- One-time Engage can however continue to purchase additional participants for the Pigeonhole.
Can I keep my legacy plan indefinitely?
No. Legacy plans will be phased out over time.
Key dates:
- 30 June 2027: Last day to renew legacy Pro, Business, Engage, and Captivate plans
- From 1 May 2028: Legacy plans will no longer be supported, and only current pricing plans will be available for subscription
Can I resubscribe to a legacy plan after cancelling?
No. If you cancel a legacy plan and the subscription expires, the workspace will be downgraded to the free Starter plan, and you will not be able to resubscribe to the same legacy plan.
What happens if my payment fails?
If payment fails for a legacy annual subscription:
- After the cycle ends, it will be downgraded to the free Starter plan with a grace period
- You may resubscribe during the grace period
- Once the grace period ends, resubscription to the legacy plan will no longer be possible
While the legacy plan is no longer available for resubscription, you can upgrade your free Starter workspace to a current pricing plan at any time.
