Simplify your workflow by importing your slides directly into a Pigeonhole Live Presentation. This method is ideal for organisations with restricted add-on access. It also ensures smoother, more responsive slide transitions when handling large sets of slides within a Presentation.
Supported file formats for these Content slides include:
- .ppt
- .pptx
- .odp
Maximum file size: 50MB
How Content slides work
Content slides:
- Display as static images. The content of these slides cannot be edited or modified
- Are shown in the Dashboard, Admin Panel, Projector display, and Moderator Panel
- Do not display in the Audience Web App by design
- Are supported for Presentation Pigeonholes only by design
How to import slides
After you create the Presentation Pigeonhole, follow these steps to import slides:
- From the position in the Slides List where you want to insert the slides, select Add slide > Import slides.

- Browse to and select the file containing the slides you want to import.
An “Importing slides” status card displays in the Slides List, in the position where the slides will be inserted. The upload might take a few moments.
Note: The Pigeonhole can be edited while the slides upload.

A notification displays when the import is complete. The slides are inserted into the Slides List. The “Polls and surveys” section header in the Slides List changes to “Slides”. The content of the imported slides cannot be edited or modified.

- (Optional) To modify the title of a Content slide, select the slide from the Slides List. In the right sidebar, enter the name you want to use in the Slide name field and select Save changes.

- (Optional) To reorder the slides in the Presentation, drag the card for the slide you want to move up or down in the Slides List.
The participant experience
Participants entering the Audience Web App are locked to the active slide on the Projector Panel to keep the presentation synchronised.
However, Content slides are excluded from the mobile view by design. This functionality helps participants focus on what you are presenting. While a Content slide is on the Projector Panel, the Audience Web App displays a static placeholder: “Non-interactive slide presenting now.”
Participants can still interact with a Pinned Q&A at any time.
