Run Quiz on Audience pace

For self-paced Quiz sessions, the audience is allowed to answer the quiz questions at their own pace. In this mode, the Audience Web App is not synced to the presenter's screen and participants will only know the correct answers after they have completed the quiz.

Setting up Audience pace

After you have created your Quiz Session, under ‘Quiz Questions’, select Audience Pace.

Note:

• Audience Web App and Projector Panel are independent of each other, and are not synchronised.
• Participants decide how quickly they would like to answer each question, and can complete the quiz before results are shown. They can click 'Next' to move to the next question on their own.
• The Admin or Presenter can reveal the correct answers in their own time.

Participating in a Quiz session and Admin controls

Participants can start the quiz at any point after the session is live.

1. Participants can click Begin and start answering questions at their own pace. They will not be given a random ‘Play as’ name that is auto-generated when they join the quiz as compared to running a quiz on Presenter’s pace with or without timer.

2. They can click Next to advance to the next question at any point in time during the quiz.

Note: Leaderboard is not available when you run a quiz on audience pace.

Admin to Reveal answers

The Admin or Presenter can choose to reveal answers in their own time.

When an Admin or Presenter clicks Next for each question, they will be prompted to reveal the correct answer for questions first. The correct answer must be revealed before you can advance to the next question. Otherwise, a pop-up will remind you to do so.

Note: Only the Admin Panel and Projector Panel are synchronised at all times during the Quiz.

End of Quiz

When participants have completed the questions and all the answers have been revealed, scores are shown at the end of the Quiz.

If answers are revealed, participants will see their score and the correct answers for each question. 

If participants complete the questions before the correct answers have been revealed, they are not shown any score on the results page until the answers are revealed.

Scoring and results for Quiz session

After the Quiz has been completed and the correct answers have been revealed, participants and Admin are shown the quiz results.

Scoring on the Audience Web App 

When the Quiz is completed, participants will see their individual scores, their selected answers, and the correct answers. 

Results on the Admin Panel and Projector Panel

The Admin Panel and Projector Panel will show the overall results once all the participants have completed the quiz. The overall results include total participants, average score, highest score, and number of participants with the highest score.
