When you turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), there’s an extra layer of security for your account. After entering your username and password, you verify identity using an email code or authenticator app. This step ensures that even if your password is compromised, only you can complete the login.
All your login prompts follow the 2FA workflow, including your Dashboard, Meeting Apps, and Presentation Apps. This article describes how to log in.
Start the login process
- On the Pigeonhole Live login screen, enter your username and password as usual.
To verify your identity, you’re prompted to use one of your set-up 2FA methods. These methods include receiving a code by email or using an authenticator app. If you set up both 2FA methods for your account, both options display.
Email verification
-
Select the tile for Send code to email.
A six-digit code is sent to the email address you use for Pigeonhole Live.
- Copy the code from the email message.
- Return to Pigeonhole Live and enter the code.
-
Select Verify.
Tip: If both 2FA methods are available, you can select Use another verification method to try the other method.
The login process is complete. You may now use Pigeonhole Live.
Authenticator app verification
-
Select the tile for Use authenticator app.
You’re prompted to enter a code from your authenticator app.
-
Open your authenticator app, find the Pigeonhole Live entry, and enter the six-digit code displayed there into the prompt.
Tip: If both 2FA methods are available, you can select Use another verification method to try the other method.
