Create an Assessment Interactivity

Assessments allow you to effectively test participant knowledge using a series of questions that have predefined correct answers. Scores are calculated instantly and available for immediate review. Learn how to create an Assessment for your Presentation using this article.

Step 1: Add the Assessment

  1. Start a Presentation Pigeonhole by following Steps 1-2 in Create a Presentation Pigeonhole.
  2. If the Assessment is the first Interactivity you’re adding to the Presentation, select the Assessment card.
  3. The “Add interactivity to presentation” page for a new Presentation. It shows the cards for all the Interactivity types.

If you already added other interactivities, select Add interactivity > Assessment.

Step 3: Configure settings

  1. (Optional) Configure advance settings as needed:
    • Anonymous responses: When disabled (default), participants are asked to create a profile when submitting answers. The organiser can identify participants who submitted answers. When enabled, participants are not identified in the answers they post in the Audience Web App, Panels, and Insights.
    • Participants see the correct answers on their screen after submitting: When enabled, participants receive immediate feedback upon completing and submitting the Assessment. The summary screen on their device displays their final score. For every question, it shows them their chosen response, the actual correct answer, and whether their submission was correct or incorrect.
    • Reactions: Allows participants to use emojis to react to moments in your live events, live streams, and on-demand videos. Available for plans with Reactions enabled.
