When running a Multiple Choice Poll and Quiz, you have the option of displaying poll results in various chart types on the Projector Panel to suit your presentation needs.
Vertical Bar Chart
Vertical bar charts are plotted vertically. This bar chart is useful to compare different categorical variables as long as there aren’t too many categories to compare. This chart type is ideal for polls with shorter answer options. The number of options is restricted to 6 to maximise legibility on the large screen and the 7th option onwards will not be displayed. When audiences vote, the bars will increase or decrease in length to indicate the changes in the vote percentages.
Horizontal Bar Chart
Horizontal Bar charts are plotted horizontally. This chart type is ideal for polls with longer answer options. Similar to the Vertical Bar Chart, the number of options is restricted to six to maximise legibility on the large screen. When audiences vote, the bars will increase or decrease in length to indicate the changes in the vote percentages.
Pie Chart
This chart type displays data in a circular graph format that works best to highlight proportions of a poll result. As votes are cast, the different segments resize accordingly in real-time. Poll options with a vote percentage below 10% will automatically be grouped into "Others" in the pie chart and shown individually at the bottom bar instead. Pie Charts work best to highlight proportions of a poll result.
