How to prevent attendees from viewing the Agenda when they are in a session?

Available on all plans

What is Prevent Agenda view?

This feature prevents your attendees from navigating out of your parent sessions and viewing the Agenda. There are times when you may not want attendees to view the Agenda. For example:

  • You my only want attendees on website to to interact over a Q&A by embedding a Pigeonhole Q&A within a website. The website may not require an agenda or the event site may have its own agenda you wish your attendees to use.
  • Your on-site event has different venues with different session QR codes leading attendees to specific sessions and their nested polls (like a Q&A with a nested poll for example) - but you do not want them to view or participate in sessions other than the one for that venue.

This feature is available on all session types except for breaks.

How to enable Prevent Agenda view?

  1. Go to an existing or new session within your Pigeonhole Agenda from Dashboard > Workspace > Pigeonhole.
  2. Go to Advanced Customisation and check the Prevent Agenda view checkbox.
  3. Your attendees will now not see the back button when they are within that parent session to navigate to the Agenda.

Note: Only parent sessions can have Prevent Agenda view enabled - nested sessions cannot have this feature because navigating back will bring the attendee to the parent session instead.
